Ford Summer Internship Program
Ford Summer Internship Program offers a paid summer work plan experience for both undergraduate and graduate students. The internships are from May through August in the areas of communications, finance, human resources, technology, legal, marketing & sales, engineering and product development.
Students must have completed their junior year of undergraduate school before applying or one year of graduate school. They must have excellent academic achievement (GPA 3.0), good communication and leadership skills and a strong work ethic. Each student will work with a supervisor who will assign projects and expected results. Students often work with teams with guidance from supervisors who will evaluate their progress and offer support.
The internship is a full-time summer job. Students who perform well may be invited to enter the Ford College Graduate program after graduation. The internship provides students with a preview of what their careers will be like at Ford. Students studying in the area of finance may also find internship opportunities in the fall and winter, as well as summer.
