Intel Software Engineering Internships
Intel Software Engineering Internships are offered to college students working on their Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. college degrees. Qualifying students must be majoring in Computer Science and can be first or second-year students.
The program is called The Intel's Early Internship for Software Engineering (IRISE). By offering the internship to students in their early college years, students are able to quickly apply their learning to real world applications in software engineering. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above and be quick learners. Internships are available during the Summer and Fall.
Intel's paid internship program is available at many U.S. locations. Interns are assigned challenging projects like code development. SQL query optimization, automating manual test cases, and more. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills are required as interns will work within specific business groups in a fast-paced, technical environment.
