The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Internships
CSIS Internships are offered in the Fall, Spring and Summer for college students interested in a work experience in public policy. Applications are now being taken for part-time or full-time Fall internships.
To be eligible, students must be college juniors with a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Graduate students and recent graduates may also apply. Students must submit a cover letter, transcripts, a letter of recommendation from a professor, and complete an essay.
Some internships may be paid while others may be unpaid. Some students who have financial need may receive stipends each semester. This is determined through information supplied by the student on a financial aid application. Work performed by interns include research, writing and developing projects. Intern opportunities are available in many states.
The internship is offered by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a nonprofit organization created in 1962 with headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Center’s focus is research and analysis on policy development that will serve the future.
