Office of Management and Budget Internships
Office of Management and Budget Internships are available to graduate-level students who are currently pursuing a Masters degree in public policy, public administration, business, economics, or a related field. The internship is unpaid.
Internships can run from three months during the summer to a total of 12 months. Positions vary and include internships within several departments. This may include financial management, policy, information technology, personnel, legal and more. Some internships, such as those within the health office, may accept applications throughout the year on a rolling basis.
Interested students may apply online by submitting an application along with their resume, grade transcripts, and a sample of their writing from 1-2 pages in length. Applicants should have a background in the area designated by the internship.
The Office of Management and Budget is the largest office within the Executive Office of the President. It is responsible for the development and execution of the Federal Budget, and review of all significant Federal regulations by executive agencies. The office reports directly to the President.
