PPG Industries Internships
PPG Industries Internships provide college students with summer employment and professional work experience before their junior or senior year. All internships are paid internships.
Internships offer students practical experience in their field of study and competitive salaries. Interns are treated as professionals and given challenging assignments that will provide exposure to various career options within their discipline of study. Selection of interns is based on academic performance, leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a strong interest in a career in industry.
Applicants must have a cumulative grade-point average of 2.8 or above through their last semester prior to beginning their internship. Internships are at least 9 weeks, and students must be willing to relocate where the internship is being offered. All applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the start date of their internship and be full-time undergraduate students at an accredited institution.
PPG Industries was founded in 1883 as the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. PPG is a global supplier of paints, coatings, optical products, specialty materials, chemicals, glass, and fiberglass. They are headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and operate in more than 70 countries around the globe.
