AEP Internships are offered to college students in the areas of engineering, business, accounting and information technology. Applicants must be full-time students attending an accredited college or university in the U.S.
AEP interns receive competitive pay, flextime, casual business dress, paid holidays and overtime. Some departments may offer a housing allowance. Most internships require a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or above.
Interns will be given challenging projects that will increase their skill level in their chosen field. They will be paid for their work experience and will increase their chances of being considered for full-time employment with AEP after graduation. Applicants must be interested in a career within the utilities industry.
