MAXIMUS Internship Program (PAID)
Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration and are offered during the summer to college students. Candidates must be rising juniors and seniors who are enrolled at an accredited college or university. Both undergraduate or graduate level students may apply.
Interns learn through hands-on experience, career development workshops and networking events. All majors are eligible; however, preference is given to students majoring in finance and accounting, economics, marketing, and public policy. Internships are offered in corporate financing, human capital, business development, communications, and contracts.
MAXIMUS Inc. is a Reston, Virginia-based company that provides business process services to government health and human services agencies in the United States as well as Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. They were founded in 1975. Their focus is on administering government-sponsored programs, such as Medicaid, the Children’'s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), health care reform, welfare-to-work, Medicare, child support enforcement, and other government programs.
