South Carolina Electric and Gas Company Internships are offered during the summer to college students who are pursuing careers as engineers, IT professionals and technicians. Eligible candidates can be pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree.
Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. All candidates must have completed their first year of a 4-year college/university or 2-year college transfer program in order to apply for an internship.
Internships provide students with an opportunity to test-drive their career in a real work setting. Whether students are pursuing careers in engineering, engineering technology, forestry or computer science-related fields, they will gain valuable work experience while continuing their education. Students who complete an internship also have an opportunity for full-time employment with the company following graduation.
