CenterPoint Energy Internships
CenterPoint Energy Internships are offered to undergraduate college students in the area of engineering. Students majoring in electrical, civil, mechanical, industrial and computer engineering may apply.
Candidates must be currently enrolled as a full-time (12 hours) student at an accredited university or college. A GPA of 3.0 or above is required. Juniors and seniors are preferred.
Electrical engineering internships provides students with hands-on experience in designing transmission systems, preparing electrical distribution development plans, and designing electrical system arrangements.
Civil, mechanical, and industrial engineering internships give students experience in project design, analyzing and summarizing pipe repair records, and doing research on public improvement projects.
