Meridian Internships offer college students an opportunity to join a premier non-profit organization for a summer learning experience in their field of interest. Interns gain knowledge and skills that will help them become effective leaders.

Summer internships are offered in the areas of Marketing and Communications, Finance, Program preparation, and more. Candidates must be working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focused on International Relations, Political Science, Non-Profit Management, Business, Finance or a field related to the internship. They must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills.

Summer interns will interact with the world's top government, diplomatic, and corporate leaders, as well as gain insight into various fields, including public diplomacy, economic development, trade, and women's empowerment. They will also meet international visitors to the center and attend seminars and public programs.

The Meridian International Center is a non-profit, public diplomacy organization founded in 1960 and located in Washington, D.C. The organization's mission is to promote "global leadership through the exchange of ideas, people, and culture." Meridian works closely with the U.S. Department of State and other U.S. government agencies.
