Venture Outdoors Internships are open to college students interested in working in the outdoor recreation field. Summer internships are available, as well as internships in the Spring and Fall.

Summer internships are offered in the areas of Fishing, Youth Program, Photography, Communications, and Marketing. Spring internships are offered in the areas of Photography and Programs. Internships are unpaid. Some positions may be available for class credit.

Interns work 10-15 hours a week. Students applying for a summer internship may start as early as April and work through August. To apply, students must submit a resume, cover letter and contact information for three references, which can include professors, teachers, and previous managers.

Venture Outdoors​ is a nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that is dedicated to connecting everyone to the benefits of outdoor recreation throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.The organization provides a variety of activities that inspire an active lifestyle and generate increased appreciation for the environment.
