Year Up offers an intensive job training program lasting one year or less to young adults. It includes hands-on skill development, corporate internships, and college credit-eligible coursework, along with an educational stipend. The program focuses on technical and professional skill training, followed by internships at renowned organizations in the Seattle/Bellevue Washington area, such as Microsoft, Accenture, Salesforce, or Seattle Children's Hospital. Eligible applicants are aged 18-29, high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., available Monday-Friday during the program, highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills, and do not hold a Bachelor's degree. Graduates benefit from professional skills, networking abilities, resume building, ongoing career support, and enjoy a high employment rate with an average starting salary of $52,000 per year.
