Year Up is an intensive job training program for young adults that spans one year or less. It offers hands-on skill development, corporate internships, and coursework eligible for college credit, along with an educational stipend. Participants undergo technical and professional skills training, followed by internships at leading organizations in the Seattle/Bellevue Washington area, such as Microsoft, Accenture, Salesforce, or Seattle Children's Hospital. Eligibility criteria include being 18-29 years old, a high school graduate or GED recipient, eligible to work in the U.S., available Monday-Friday throughout the program, and highly motivated to learn. Graduates of the program have a high employment rate and earn an average starting salary of $52,000 per year.
