This role within the Radiology - Ultrasound department involves performing sonographic studies under the direct supervision of a registered Sonographer. The position includes assisting with non-comped sonographic studies, reviewing patient history, ensuring safety during examinations, and participating in various aspects of patient care. After completing the internship, the staff member is expected to conduct routine sonographic studies, manage equipment, and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications include current ARDMS Ultrasound Training Program completion and CPR certification, with physical demands categorized as medium work and potential exposure to chemicals and rotating shifts.
