Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, is offering a paid 2024 Student Healthcare Internship Program (S.H.I.P) for nursing students in their final two semesters. The 8-week program includes shadowing, skill development, and potential preferential job placement upon successful completion. Applicants must be available for weekly shifts and a half-day shadowing, plus an orientation week. The program, known for its Magnet-designated status and history of excellence, requires BLS certification and offers diverse experiences across various hospital units. Applications are due by February 16th, with the program starting on May 27th.
