This position involves designing and implementing highly sparse data-to-symbol converters for various modalities, with a focus on benchmarking their performance against state-of-the-art machine learning models. Candidates must be pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with at least 1 year of experience in ML model compression, multimodal feature extraction, and Python coding. The role is within Intel Labs, focusing on driving Intel's technology pipeline by identifying breakthrough technologies and collaborating with academia and industry partners.
